According to the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Phoenix, the Valley has received 3.37 inches of rainfall since June 15, the beginning of the annual monsoon season. They announced this using the @NWSPhoenix Twitter feed, adding that Phoenix typically receives 1.45 inches of rain from June 15 through August 17.
